Michael Levin is the founder and CEO of Levtex Home, a leading home textiles company known for creating distinctive, accessible bedding and home products.

Michael has spent more than 25 years in the home textiles industry, with experience spanning design, product development, global sourcing, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce. He remains deeply involved in the creative and product sides of Levtex, working closely with the company’s design and sourcing teams on everything from new concepts, color and pattern to fabrics, manufacturing and bringing finished collections to market.

Before founding Levtex Home, Michael was CEO of Kidsline, then the largest infant bedding company in the United States. He joined Kidsline in 2000 and led the company through its sale to a public company in 2005, continuing as CEO following the acquisition through the end of 2009.

Michael began his career as an attorney at the international law firm Graham & James, where he became a partner and ultimately served as Managing Partner of both the San Francisco office and the global firm.

His unusual path from law firm leadership to running and building consumer home businesses gives Michael a broad perspective on the industry. Having spent decades working directly with designers, factories, retailers and consumers, he understands the entire life cycle of a home product—from the initial design idea and global sourcing through manufacturing, merchandising, retail and e-commerce.

Today, Michael continues to lead Levtex Home while remaining closely connected to the product itself and to the changing ways consumers decorate, shop for and live in their homes.

Joanne Levin is the co-founder and President of Levtex Home, where she also serves as Chief Merchant and Head of Design. She leads the creative and merchandising vision of the company and remains closely involved in the development of Levtex products from initial inspiration through finished collection.

Joanne has spent more than 30 years in the home textiles industry. She began her career at Kidsline in 1992, gaining broad experience across sourcing and sales before moving into design leadership. Her experience across multiple sides of the business gave her an unusual combination of creative instinct, product knowledge and commercial understanding.

At Levtex Home, Joanne oversees design and merchandising, working closely with the company’s teams and global partners on color, pattern, fabrication, product development and sourcing. She has a particular ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into bedding and home products that are beautiful, approachable and relevant to the way people live.

As both a merchant and designer, Joanne approaches product with the consumer in mind—balancing creativity and trend with quality, value and commercial appeal. Her decades of experience give her a deep understanding of how tastes in the home evolve and how an idea moves from inspiration and design through sourcing, manufacturing, merchandising and ultimately into the consumer’s home.

Today, Joanne continues to shape the creative direction of Levtex Home, bringing the same hands-on involvement, curiosity and passion for product that have defined her career.
